  2. This question paper consists of 21 questions in two sections: Section A & Section B
  3. Section A has Objective Type Questions whereas Section B contains Subjective Type Questions.
  4. Out of the given (5+16=) 21 questions, a candidate has to answer (5+10=) 15 questions in the alloted (maximum) time of 2 hours.
  5. All questions of a particular section must be attempted in the correct order.

Ans: Problems related to sustainable development are:
i) Food : The amount of rich, fertile land needed to grow crops, such as wheat, rice, etc., is becoming less as we are using up more and more land for other purposes.
ii) Water : We use fresh water from rivers and ponds for drinking and cleaning but dump garbage into them.
iii) Fuel : We are using a lot of wood from trees as fuels and for construction of homes and furniture. As more and more trees are being cut, it is affecting the climate of the place.

11. Out of various style categories provided by Writer, explain Frame style category in brief.
Ans: Frames are like containers, which can hold text, graphics and lists. Using frame style, a document can be organised in sections, so that each section of the page can have a different appearance.

12. What is a Macro? Give any two rules that should be followed while naming a Macro or module in Calc.
Ans: A macro is a single instruction that executes a set of instruction. A macro is like an algorithm or a set of actions that we can use or run multiple times. A macro helps in automating or repeating tasks by recording or storing our input sequences like mouse strokes or keyboard presses.
Rules for naming a macro are : The name should (a) Begin with a letter (b) Not contain spaces (c) Not contain special characters except for (underscore)

13. What is the main purpose of Goal Seek in Calc? Give an example to support your answer.
Ans: It is a useful data analysis tool of Calc software. It is used to set a goal to find the optimum (correct) value for one or more target variables, given with the certain conditions. Simply it helps you obtain the input value that results in the target value that you want.
For example, if you want to know the number of units produced to get the desired output then use Goal seek analysis tool.

14. What are the important prerequisites for setting a relationship between two tables in LibreOffice Base? Mention any two.
